Architectural Photography in Grand Rapids, West Michigan and Beyond
Angle + Light is an architectural photography studio led by Nate Gillette, AIA, a licensed architect who photographs buildings the way an architect reads them: structure first, then light, then the life inside.
We work with architects, developers, interior designers, builders and design studios who need images that do justice to the work, for award submissions, marketing, publications and project records. Every shoot is planned around the building itself: sight lines, the hour the façade catches the sun, the moment interior and exterior light balance at dusk.
Based in Rockford and serving Grand Rapids and West Michigan, we travel wherever the project is. Our portfolio spans civic landmarks, historic interiors, adaptive reuse and modern commercial work from Detroit to London. Aerial and site-context photography is available from an FAA Part 107 licensed drone pilot.
Licensing is straightforward: a creative fee plus per-image usage, with cost sharing when several firms on a project want the same images.
